We are a member society of The Arts Society (formerly NADFAS -The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies).
Our aims are to promote the appreciation of the decorative and fine arts and the preservation of our artistic heritage.
Founded in 1981, The Arts Society Gloucestershire meets monthly (except during July, August and December) at The Westwoods Centre, Northleach, Gloucestershire.

We meet for lectures on a wide range of topics from the Fate of the Chinese Imperial Art Collection to the Italian Renaissance.
These lectures are given by experienced and highly qualified lecturers who are experts in their chosen field. A full description is in the 'Lectures' section.
The Society organises visits to art galleries, museums, London exhibitions and places of historic and artistic interest.
