Virtual Visit to Sculpture Park, South Africa

The Arts Society Blockley invites you to join them on a virtual walk around the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Gardens, near Stellenbosch, South Africa.

For some background, the South African sculptor Dylan Lewis (b.1964) has established an incredibly beautiful outdoor exhibition space known as the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden. The Sculptures have been chosen and situated so as to relate to the surrounding environment, the landscaping has been designed with intention so as to form a living sculpture and the space is somewhat sacred to the artist and this is very much felt by the visitor. The space is set against the Stellenbosch Mountains and is the former home and studio of Dylan Lewis. This exhibition is normally by appointment and only local South African art enthusiasts actually know about it. This is truly a hidden gem. Join Clive and one of the garden curators as we explore this very special piece of the earth.

Clive De Bruyne was born and brought up on the south coast of South Africa.
